Hello, I’m Treori and my lil mistress is Freya.
She is a standard black otter rex, just turned 11 weeks old. She has a single floppy ear tip,
I have had her for a week and a half, but it already feels like she has been here forever. She isn’t spayed yet, but I will be booking her appt. with the vet very soon. She is typical of the rex breed, very intellegant, she is very cheeky, I can spot a strong stubborn streak in her as well, but she can be extremly sweet.
I only had one bunny before and when he passed it broke my heart so badly it took me nearly 17 years to get over him and start looking for a new rabbit. I decided I wanted a rex in particular so I have waited a year until I found a good breeder, one I could trust after bombarding the poor man with an absolute ton of quiestions. I do feel totally at sea somtimes though because when I had Magic ‘rabbit care’ was quite a bit different then it is now (rabbits were always fed rabbit musli, having a single rabbit that was kept a tthe bottom of the garden was the norm etc etc). I have a 6 year old son that is going on 67 who Freya seems to have bonded with quite strongly. She follows him about the house and if he sits down within her reach she is aways in his face and trying to lick his hands and getting his attention.
I do still have some questions mainly because of some contradictory advice I ha\ve seen everywhere concerning young and baby rabbits. I look forward to getting to know you guys better
