A vet can make an estimate of her age and tell you whether it’s a boy or a girl, that’s really very difficult for non-experts to see in young bunnies. It’s always good to let a vet do a check-up of a new bunny.

She looks young, and really young rabbits under the age of 12 weeks shouldn’t have any veggies at all. And when greens and veg are introduced, you should take it very slow. Give her just a small amount of one type, like romain lettuce or kale, and keep that up for a week. Then you add another green and so on and on. This is so as not to cause tummy upset in a young bun.

Alfalfa is very good for young rabbits and thay should always have plenty of hay so they can eat whenever they want. Bunny tummies must never become empty. Good brands of pellets are Oxbow and Science Selective, there are other good brands as well.

Also the story of these bunnies is quite interesting really, the origanal bunnies were someone’s pets, a few got loose and they did so well that the owners then let the rest loose and that would of been about 6 years ago now!!!!!!
