I have been reading several posts & decided to join binky.
I am a new bunny owner as of October. I adopted a 4-5yr old lionhead mix doe from my local shelter then. A few weeks later, I aquired a 5yr old lopear “buck” from an elderly lady that was surrendering due to health issues. I am big on spay/neuter, and after reading about health issues, both buns were fixed in November- my buck turned out to be a doe! She was fortunate being spayed as she had hydrometra & uterine cysts.
Anyways, soon as I figure out how to load pictures, I will do so.
Recently just aquired a 10week old blue(?) buck lionhead. I will be neutering as soon as appropriate to do so.
Looking into bonding bunnies, DIY toys for more enrichment. I cannot do cage free as I have 3 dogs, however bunnies have a huge dog playpen for play when not in cage. My dogs enjoy bunny kisses while bunnies are safely enclosed & my cockatiel sings to them as well!
