I was searching around looking for bunny related sites due to me just getting one of the cutest ones int eh world, and came across BinkBunny. Figured it was time to say hi :p Oh, and to introduce my bun: Monkey. This is her when we first got her, at age 7.5 weeks. She’s now almost 4 months old, don’t have her latest pics uploaded from the camera yet :p

I’ll definitely have more pics up, as soon as I charge my camera battery. Tt died while taking pics of her >.>

We had to name her monkey, the little imp decided she loved climbing on everything. If she could get on top of it, thats where she’d go. lol.

Welcome to BinkyBunny! Monkey is so cute. She’s reaching that 4 – 6 month mark that may make her challenging soon, so I am so glad you found us. If you notice any major attitude or litterbox habit issues, we’re here to help.

So tell us more about Monkey. What’s her personality like right now? Of course, younger bunnies have lots of energy, but is she the chewing type, the exploring type…has she done any binkies or zooms yet?

Oh she’s a non-stop binkie machine. She does what my hubby calls her “racecar” which is doing complete circuits of her play room at top speed. She’s not into being held much, but is perfectly willing to climb into my lap when i go sit with her.

She litter trained herself, absolutely refuses to go potty anywhere but her box. Thank god lol. She LOVES to chew, on the baseboards, widow sill, her cage, my clothes…. we went and got her some baskets and boxes and blocks to chew on, so hopefully she figures out what doesn’t get her into trouble soon. But, even when she does chew on the wall, she’s just too adorable to stay mad at. The apartment manager may not agree, but what does he know >.>

Awww! I love her ears in that picture! Baby bunnies have the cutest little ears =) Is she a Netherland Dwarf? Cus then she’ll get to keep those teeny tiny ears. Eee!

                    Welcome!

Monkey is a great name. What a cutie.
I love when they do the Racecar / Bunny 500!
I think a lot of us can relate to the “too adorable to stay mad at” thing.

                      Welcome to Binky Bunny.

She is a ND, we got her a bunny show, but she was classed as a pet bunny rather than a show bunny due to 2 things: her ears are too big for the breed 9they’ve gotten much bigger, but still nto as big as some bunnies ive seen :p) and she’s tiny, was the runt of the litter.

I’m just glad we went to that show to see what different breeds were out there

It’s best to get another bun at least a month after she’s been spayed so she’s all healed up and her hormones are not making her nuts anymore. Also, tt’s supposedly best to get them spayed at 6 months.

My Thumper got spayed a week ago and I can’t wait that extra three weeks to find her a husbun! I’ve only been on the forums for a week, but everyone here has been so helpful and nice, I’m sure you’ll love it here too! Welcome! =)

Yeah that’s about what I figured. Shes at 4 months now, gonna take her in to see her vet to get her nails clipped cuz she won’t sit still for me to do it (lol) and see when he thinks we should get her in. He’s an awesome vet too, specializes in exotic pets.

Can’t wait for a friend for her
