  I have been using this forum as an awesome resource of information and thought I would introduce myself and Clay our 8/9 week old fuzzy holland Lops (I think). We got him last Sunday (10/9) and has started to let us pet him more and is running around like a madman. I am taking online courses through the University of Wisconsin this semester and my g/f is at UW Madison. Needless to say I am home ALL the time and I needed a friend to hang out with. Now we have Clay (named after Green Bay Packers outside linebacker Clay Matthews) and is starting to be a bunny brat that is so darn cute.

  The little guy went to the vet today, clean bill of health. I think the trip has made him grumpy. All he has done today was sit in his cage and forcefully rearrange it. I am not sure if me cleaning the cage or the vet trip or a combination of both has made him extremely anti-social. I feel like we have gone a step back, he doesn’t come out of his cage and I haven’t seen one bunny binky at all today. Just worried that he his holding a bunny grudge and I am also frustrated because he doesn’t seem happy. We’ll see if he goes on his crazy run tonight. Where he has been most of the day, the tunnel used to be perpendicular to where he is now , on second thought I may have rearranged his blanket a little would this make a difference?

  Don’t worry – they hold bunny grudges, but they get over it. Vet trips are stressful, so give him a few days to get back to his normal self.

  Clay’s adorable! I’m new here too, with a little grey lop-eared named Sweep who is my first bunny. Welcome, and I hope your Clay comes out of his vet funk soon.

  Im glad you named him after a football player because I looked at his picture before I read your post and chuckled at his fur. He looks like he is wearing one of those old leather football helmets! And its so far down on his head that it covers his eyes hahaha. Oh, he is a cartoon character waiting to happen (I mean that in the best way)

  Welcome to the fun!!! Lol don’t worry they go through moods. I have a minni rex that is 8 monthes old who is sometimes cuddley and other time a messenger of the devil lol. He will be ok, bt the way love the name clay after Mathews! I bet he runs all over everything like him lol.
