I’m new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself and my bunbun.
You can just call me by my username as my real name tends to get blocked on everything electronic I use haha.
I am new to bunnies but have done hours and hours of research to make sure mines properly taken care of.
I saw a continental giant, Atlas, for adoption in Scotland on the news and that triggered a new fascination with rabbits. I’ve always owned animals since I was 3 (rats (fostered with a rat rescue for a few years), hamsters, Egyptian spiny mice, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds of all types, dogs, cats you name it!) but never had a rabbit before. I found someone selling Flemish giant babies online and adopted a light grey doe named Lucky.
She’s almost 4 mos, not spayed. Her interests include flopping on the vents, playing with my Jack Russell, and getting lots of head rubs.
We’ve had her for a month and a half and she’s just the best pet I’ve ever owned. She keeps me on my feet and always thinking (mostly to keep her from eating everything in my house haha).

Hi !! And welcome to the big bun family !!! (OK so Lucky)
See, Jack Russell = terrier. Terrier in theory should = yum yum rabbits!
Your Jack’s DNA is going a bit weird at the moment searching his database for info about this huuuuuge prey – and actually (like mine) he decides it’s best to be friends !!! LOL

There’s a thread following a Flemmie Down Under, but photos of Lucky would be great !! And keep a wieght chart – it’ll keep going up and up !! LOL

Yeah I thought he would wanna eat her too but they hang out together and run around the house together. If he gets too rowdy I tell him to go to his bed haha. I included some pics in my first post but I could only get them to be links. I have to get used to this site I guess. I’ve been trying to weigh her with a spring scale but I think I need a kitchen scale or a digital one at least.
