this is rosie my lionhead girl. she’s over two years old and is a real sweetie.

She’s adorable! But is that her cage? The wire bottom is actually bad for their hocks and hurts them. There are so many things on this site that can help you make your gorgeous little bun the happiest she can be. And so many people here can help if you have any questions.
Agreed! Even if you don’t want to get a new cage, you can just get a mat or bottom to put down so her little paws don’t get hurt! She’s sooooooo adorable though! My boyfriend and I got a Lionhead from the Humane Society but my boyfriend ended up being really allergic to all of his hair since he was constantly shedding so we had to take him back.
Loved the Lionhead look though, which is funny because when I first saw them I wasn’t very interested then I saw the one at the shelter and just had to have him!
She’s very cute!
actually this is the cage she was in from where i got her from. i havent had an opportunity since having her to take pictures.
she came from a breeder that used her to breed then decided rosie could retire and listed her online to find her a home in which i saw and responded too.
she’s now a house bunny enjoying the good life.
this site’s cool, i see lots and lots of helpful information, this is neat.
I love it too! I’m a pretty new bunny mom and I kept looking at this site for answers about everything and would read the forums and then I finally made an account and now I seem to be on it all the time! it’s so helpful and it’s so cute looking at all the other buns and finding out other peoples experiences! I love it!
That’s WONDERFUL! You saved her from a life of breeding and poor living conditions. You can watch on youtube some videos of how smart rabbits actually are. They can be taught tricks with clicker training, some can even be completely free range and not need an actual cage if you are interested in something like that. It’s not for everyone and some bunnies just don’t do well with too much freedom, but just something that can show how smart they really are.
If you go to bunny info it will help you make your house ready for a loose bunny if you’re interested in allowing some free time out of the cage and can also show you some really creative ways to make a cage if you want to give her some more space.
I’m not sure if she already is or not, but bunnies are actually pretty easy to litter train also and that can save you money because you don’t have to have something all over the bottom and can keep the mess contained in a box.
Congrats on your beautiful baby – just a warning though, you might want to prepare yourself with more pictures. We tend to ask a bit. We like seeing new buns and the things they do ![]()
thanks, yes i plan on checking it all out, i want to watch the videos on here when i have a chance, the pictures are so cute of all the different bunnies.
i definitely will try and have some pictures sometime soon. i did take just one the day i picked her up. i caught her checking me out so i snapped it at a red light. i tried to include with this post but cannot so i will try and add to my first or something, i dont know ![]()

So. Fluffy!
She’s adorable.
OMGGG! So adorable and fluffy!
OH MY GOSH! I LOVE HER COLORING AND JUST WANT TO STEAL HER FROM YOU! How does that sound? You can pick her up in a few weeks. Unless of course I randomly move and you can’t find me. Well, just don’t get upset, she’s BEAUTIFUL!
She is so cute! Beautiful bun!
Welcome! She’s beautiful – I love black and white bunnies and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a b&w lionhead before.

Oh, gosh! She has incredibly beautiful hair! I hadn’t realized just how long it was in the back. She’s stunning, bunnymomz. The black around both her eyes, and the stripe down her back, then the “beauty mark”… Awww!
It’s hard to believe she’s real!
I just got my first bunny-Tulip, and she is a Lionhead…yours is sooo precious!
tulip, that’s cute. I see her picture as your avatar, she looks like a baby, awe.
@sillysungura people see her and they think she is fake like a stuffed animal or something ![]()
Yes she is a baby
She is wonderful!
Awwww, you guys are making me SOO jealous! We have three buns right now — but our other bun (we couldn’t keep him because my boyfriend turned out to be really allergic with all of his hair) was a Lionhead! I love the pictures of your Lionheads on this post — here’s my big guy before we had to give him back to the Humane Society.

Oh wow! He is stunning!
ok so maybe I’m going crazy, someone help me out. Before I logged in I thought I saw pictures of someone else’s Lionhead (sorry I can’t recall her name at the moment) and now that I logged in to comment I see nothing. I think even LittleBunny responded to it too.
I had wanted to say the bunny, looked like a he looked exactly like mine though his hair wasn’t full. (confused??)
guess it’s been a long day………
Something must be up with your computer….I can see them, they were posted by tanlover14
Yes it is my computer because on my cell I can see it, wow that’s odd but thanks I’m glad I’m not going crazy lol. )
