Hi Everyone! I am new to the forum, but not really new to being a “bunny slave” lol. My first bunny died a few years ago after living a long life with me. I knew nothing when I got him, but learned a lot along the way! My Husband adopted 2 rescue bunnies for me just recently and I am trying to learn about bonded pairs since I’ve only ever had one bunny!
Rabbit info
1. Rabbit Names: Fera and FuManChu…those are the names they came with from the rescue and we decided to keep them.
2. Rabbit Age: I believe they are both a little over a year old.
3. How long have your Rabbits been with you: less than a week
4. Spayed/Neutered: yes to both!
5. Rabbit Personality Traits: FuMan is kind of grumpy.
He’s trying to be the dominant one so he mounts Fera quite often, but luckily once she moves away he stops. She also doesn’t seem to mind too much. We’ve been told he’s actually bitten people before which makes me nervous. He loves me when it’s feeding time though. Fera is turning out to be spunky. She just did her first binkies with us tonight! It was a wonderful sight!We saw Fera online and my Husband called to inquire about her and if she was bonded to anyone. They said that she wasn’t, but they could try to find a friend for her. They picked FuManChu and they seem to be doing ok. I guess they are very newly bonded so they could be closer. So far so good here with us though.
I plan on posting in the bonded area and behavior areas first. So…if you see my posts and can help please do!
