Hi, we just took in our first rabbit and after a few days we are all amazed at the depth of this little animal! We had no expectations aside from knowing from the prvious owner that the rabbit was ‘playful, curious, sweet’ and it didnt take long for us to realize just how true that was.

Being a long time dog owner, it’s a unusual relationship for me to have, I don’t care for cats but I am finding my interactions with this rabbit are much more interesting than cats anyway!

Dont know what kind of rabbit she is, and haven’t taken pics yet, she is rather largish and has a big ‘poof’ or ‘waddle’ or something under her chin.

I’ve turned our lives upside down to accomodate her, I’ll tell you more about that another time, in another section of the forum!

Alot of female rabbits, especially unspayed ones, have something called a dewlap, its that roll of skin and fur under their chins. Are you going to get her spayed? I’d recommend it

          Can’t wait to see her!

Oh yes, them females tend to get slight dewlaps. Some boys will get it as well!

            How old is she?

I second getting her spayed! It will calm her down, bring down her chance of reproductive cancer, and she’ll be an even better pet
