Hello and congrats on getting your bun
Without further ado…
1) Personally, I wouldn’t keep her room at a constant temperature all the time, she needs to feel the cold/the hot to molt correctly. So I’d say anything between +18°C and +28°C is fine. My bun’s tested down to 15°C and up to 35°C (cause here summers are criminally hot even with A/C). Anything you do, set the A/C in a way that she doesn’t catch the draft of cold air.
2) Did you already take her to the vet for a general check up? In case you haven’t, do book that appointment. After she’s been weighted, the vet will be able to tell you if the dose suggested on the pellet’s packaging is good for her. As for my vet’s opinion, he says that as long as there’s hay to munch on it doesn’t matter if the pellets or the veggies fall a little short. Also… buns are always hungry, so I’d definitely trust a vet’s opinion over her appetite!
3) Yep, seems like she’s feeling secure and cozy.
4) A lot of buns are picky hay eaters. Just give her time to adjust to her new life and if she is still picky in a month or two consider to switch brands or to offer her 100% pressed hay pellets
5) As long as it’s quality time (petting, brushing, playing, talking), even 30 mins a day can do if you’re really busy. My bun lives in my study/play area, so I’m stuck with him for a looong time every day, but he does fine even in periods when I can’t be with him more than one hour.
6) Buns sleep a LOT. I’d say they sleep and lazy around more than cats!
She sounds like a very sweet, confident and fine little bun bun
Lucky you!
