So, I am a new bunny owner.

I bought my bunny two days ago, and at first she was really stressed hardly ate or drank any water. I know that bunnies take time getting used to their environment. So today she’s eating alot and drinking. She loves to explore and play. But what concerns me is that she’s not pooping. I heard that they might be eating it. I saw this one post saying it happen to her and after a few days the Bunny was pooping again. I’m a college student and I really don’t have tons of money. And there’s hardly any vets who have any experience with bunnies. I really just think she’s eating it. She’s pretty small so I think she just the fiber from her stool. I tried simulating her rear, but nothing is coming out. Again, she’s a really happy bunny and loves her treats, hay and water. She love playing and nothing still hasn’t change. I look online and all I see is horrid stuff. Please if anyone, please help me with my little bunny! thank you for your advices!

Hi what kind of bunny do you have? just curious

Has your bunny had any new food? Did you give him a new veggie, kibble, treat..ext..  It could be he/she is getting use to there new food.

I hope its nothing serious, if they seem to be active that’s a good sign. If they don’t start pooping after a long time then I would start to be concerned. But just keep an eye on them overall. hope this was somewhat helpful, good luck with your new friend.

If she’s not pooping, she NEEDS a vet. There’s nothing we can do.

How long has it been since she pooped? Is she moving around? If she’s eating and drinking, something must come out the other end. It’s just one special type of poop that they’re supposed to eat. Have you seen her eat poop? Is she peeing?
