Forum DIET & CARE new bun owner – safe greens?

        I want to give my buns as much variety as possible in their diet.

        Other than parsley, cilantro and dandelion greens, what fresh greeenery can I safely feed them ?Thanks

            you can feed many, many greens! it’s important to introduce them one at a time so if the bunny has an adverse reaction to it, you will know what caused it. go to diet info like knowltons said and you will see a link for a list. i’d recommend you print the list out and take it with you to the store.

              welcome to Binky Bunny I’d recommend looking at the diet section that knowltons4 pointed out for a very comprehensive list.
              My bunnies especially like herbs, like mint, basil, dill and of course the parsley and cilantro you mentioned. As Beka recommended, it’s a good idea to introduce new veggies one at a time.

                Something to keep in mind that that too much variety can cause dietary upset in a rabbit.  Introduce things slowly and wait to see if it causes diarrhea, gas, bloating or other out of the ordinary reactions in your rabbit.  Here is a good list linked here on Binky Bunny under BUNNY INFO – DIET:
