Here is beautiful Bertie, a lovely dwarf lop I adopted from a rescue last month. He’s such a happy little chap who purrs when his ears are stroked and loves rushing round the flat at top speed.

Bertie was rescued by the RSPCA from a home with 14 rabbits, none of whom had been neutered, so he’s got scars all over his ears where they were fighting. He came off the worst of them all and we think he was bullied and kept from his food. He had sore hocks which are all better, but we are worried he may have had pasteurella for a while. We have our fingers crossed that some antibiotics will shift his sneezes!

I’ve had two house buns before, both of whom died way too young. Jarvis was a mini lop who had statis aged six months, and Fred didn’t wake up from his castration at about the same age. I’ve had bad bunny luck but I’m doing everything I can to care for Bertie and give him the most happy and healthy life I can!

Thank you for rescuing this beautiful bunny boy, and giving him a safe home. I’m sorry about the loss of your previous bunnies, hopefully you and Bertie will have good bunny luck from now on.
