hey! i joined up when @dove did, and i’m the fiance he referenced in his intro!

i’m Beau, a 21-yo nb (they/them) in North Dakota. dove and i live together with our rats, snakes, lizards, mice, cats, tarantula and soon-to-be house bunny!

i wasn’t a 4-H kid like dove was, but ive had a few rabbits anyway. we had a family rabbit, a huge angora mix, when i was a child, and as an adult i’ve had a black tan lionhead named Marvo and a retired showbunny, a black Netherland Dwarf, named Midnight. Panini is going to be my first baby bunny and hopefully the most amicable rabbit ive had yet! she is a fawn/yellow N.E. Rex, 8 weeks, and we get her saturday!

i spent yesterday building a 16.5sq ft. indoor enclosure for her, and she will have a whole house to free roam. we’re going to start growing greens for her (given i can keep the cats away from the sprouts…) as she’ll be old enough for them soon. im really excited!!

It is very nice to have met you both, and welcome to BinkyBunny. 🙂 It always brings a smile to my face when a bunny gets a good home with good people. 🙂 As I told Dove, you both will have to make a post when you get her, it’s always lovely to see a new bunny on BB. 😀

I’d love some pictures when you take her home! I love baby bunnies, and was thinking of adopting one from a shelter that has a lot of accidental litters dumped as my second one, but bonding would be much more difficult and there was also spaying to worry about. I got my lovely Lola nearly two weeks ago and bonding is underway. She is a gorgeous fawn colored bunny, I now have a soft spot for fawn colored rabbits. Good luck with the baby bunny!
