        Hi there.
I adopted my bun a little while ago however recently his sister has joined us as well!
He was a little territorial at first but they get along so well now ❤
Now that we have a female and a male in the house, getting him neutered has become a priority. They are still quite young at 13 weeks but I don’t want any mistakes to happen.
I was wondering if I should take both of them to the vet together? I’ve heard that it’s not great to separate a bonded pair but I’m not sure how to feel about taking them both to a strange place and leaving them there. Also I’m worried the vet would judge me for keeping them both while they’re unspayed/neutered. Am I being silly?

You need to keep them completely separate. 13 weeks isn’t too young to be impregnated, and males can remain fertile upto a month after surgery.

Agreed with Sarah. They aren’t a bonded pair. Being litter mates doesn’t mean anything. Bunnies don’t recognize family units. She could very easily become impregnated. You need to keep them completely separate until 1-2 months after she has been spayed.
