I wanted to know how old should a rabbit be to get neutered? And what about care before and after getting him neutered?

Do not let the receptionist tell you to fast him overnight. I just taught the front desk people, and a client, about that. Rabbits cannot vomit so no worries about inhalation/choking. I forget the latest thought about age, so someone w/ a better memory will have to say. I think it’s 4 or 6 mo. (Showing my age. It hasn’t been that long for Gus)

Don’t let him run and do binkies the first week or so after surgery. Give him time to heal so limit that activity. And send food to the vet so they can offer it right up till surgery and ASAP after surgery. No special care before surgery. Enjoy!

Would this advice be the same as getting your female spayed? limit activity for a week etc.?

Yup. Feed them up until and don’t let them run too much even more so for a female cuz you don’t want that yummy incision aggravated
