It is easy for me to remember how long my quartet has been cementing because I built their pen for the new year.

After four full months now I am finally seeing Neigey integrating with the former trio. He is bonded individually very well to Mops and Lint, and Deirdra approves of him most of the time but he had been on edge around her in crowded quarters, such as their litter/hay cages. Usually when I replenish their hay racks in their two litter cages, Neigey will go to the one without Deirdra inside it, and eat there by himself or joined by Mops or Lint.  This has recently changed. I am so pleased to see all four eating together in one cage now.

Neigey is smart to shield himself with Lint by his flank from Deirdra…

Grats! It’s so ncice when you see them overcome something and get along better.

Still working on that with my guys, but all seems well.

not harder because they live in a bunch. But you need way more space and litter and hay and if you go away it is harder to find someone willing to look after 4, they need a lot of cleaning up because you get the odor from a pair times two. Also, you have to have a budget for vet stuff.

I find also, with larger groups (more then pairs) if you don’t know each bunny 100% it can be more difficult to see a problem, such as not eating or pooping. Plus grooming takes a lot longer lol
