So Starsky is officially launched on http://www.petrescue.com.au and I have also added him to Bunspace.

It’s always better if you can state the breed but all spotted rabbits look like english spots to me.

So can any of the spotty bun owners clarify what young Starsky may be so I can get his adoption profile right.

I have to get my camera out, he just did a huge flop !!!!!!! He is just so gorgeous. I want to try andget video of his stomp shffle. If you don’t give him enough attention he gets up on his back feet and does this Stomp, Shuffle, Shuffle, Stomp….

I would say English Spot Mix – the “MIx” kind of covers you for all breeds since you can only guess really. He’s very very cute.

I finally declared Sammy an English Spot (mix with something probably, or just not purebred) after much research. However, at first glance Starsky looks much more like a Mini Rex to me.
So, he resembles English Spots enough to ask these questions: Are his whiskers long and straight (ES) or short and curly (MR)?
Is is adult fur coat in yet, and does it feel like silk (ES) or velvet (MR)?
Does his back arch up a bit with a little space between tummy and floor (ES) or does he stand pretty flat to the ground (MR)?

His color is “broken”, no matter what the breed. You could say he is Uppy-Eared, breed Mixed and give his weight.

              1. Long straight whiskers
              2. Coat is silky but don’t believe he is quite a year old yet
              3. He does have a lovely arch to his back when sitting. However due to his desire to hump every thing he may just be keeping his equipment from rubbing on the floor. Utensils look to be quite newish.
              4. Weight is 2.25 kg / 4.5 lb

Then yep, he sounds like an English Spot mix to me. (And he has the ES muzzle, which Sammy doesn’t.)
