Need some advice from Giant owners

So I own a 18 pound Flemish. He is a beautiful, wonderful, amazing bun. And free roam.

Fairly clean, except for poor litter habits. ((We never were able to litter train him. He wont pick a corner or a single spot. He just goes where he pleases.))

Well I’m looking for bowl options. For both water and pellets for him. Because I’ve tried so many types, styles, and sizes of bowls, and he just throws and breaks every one. No matter how heavy they are, somehow he will just break them. So I went to using some metal pots I had. I’ve never seen something so badly dented in my life.

His food and water always cover my living room now, and it’s just tiring to pick it all up, only to have it thrown again only a few minutes later when I replenish and set it down. I was considering attaching some smaller bowls to my other rabbits cage, along the outside for him, but they are not yet bonded, so I’m unsure about doing this.

Any ideas to try and keep this from continuing?

Have you looked at bowls in the dog section for big dogs? Those might be heavier and not as easy to toss about.

Used those. Nope. They were tossed with ease.

I had another gravity waterer and she kept knocking it over. This one is 2.5 gal (so 20#) There is nowhere really for the rabbit to grab onto to flip it. And she has never knocked it over.

I put a brick in the bottom of the water bowl for a bun I used to have. He never flipped his food bowl, but CONSTANTLY flipped the water. So I bought a flat-bottom metal bowl and put a brick in it…never flipped it again, haha.
