Need help. My baby is stressed from the move :(

I recently had no choice but to move. The move took a really long time and was super stressful for both my rabbit and I. We are finally in our new place. Unfortunately in this living situation she’s confined to one room, my room. It’s quite a spacious room and she does binkies sometimes so I don’t see exercise as an issue. However.. she’s usually very good with using her litter box, but unfortunately she’s been choosing to use my bed instead. She hasn’t used her litter at all, just my bed, and I cant be doing this much laundry all the time, i literally just don’t have enough blankets or time. Also it goes without saying you don’t want your rabbit peeing in your bed.

How can i stop this behavior? I’ve been putting all her poops in her litter box but she doesn’t seem to notice or care. Please help.

Sounds like she’s actually not all that stressed-what with her binkying, but merely found a new and improved litter tray!

Your rabbit is acting out territorial instincts, to make her new room “hers” and to make sure any weird strange bunnies that might be lurking around also know it’s hers.
Your bed smells like you, not like her, -so she needs to bunny it up a bit(plus soft things must feel amazing to pee on because it’s such a common problem)

Restrict her access to the room, give her a smaller area to ‘protect’.(In the form of a cage or xpen) This way she doesnt stress and you dont have to clean all the time, and it will be easier to learn the litter tray rule again.

I’d say dont let her on the bed, but failing that, other owners on here have had success with throwing a shower curtain over the bed-it’s cheap, easy to clean and eventually their rabbits lost interest in going toilet there!

Rabbits naturally like to go on soft things. Your bed happens to be very soft im sure Many people on this site use a cover of sorts (usually read about shower curtains as covers) to protect the bed from their bunny(s)
