Need help identifying my bunny’s breed

Hello ! First of all, as I am new here, I’m unsure wether or not this is the right subforum to post. I hesitated between this place and the “Welcome !” category. Anyhow, hopefully I’m not too lost !

So, as the thread title suggest, I need some of you guys’ help to identify what breed my bunny belongs to. I’ve had her since the end of january 2017 but uh… somehow only asked myself this question now. After a couple of searches online, I couldn’t quite put my finger on her breed. Looking through Google images and such, I didn’t really see a breed that matches her physique. I ultimately thought she was a mix of 2 breeds, but again, I am no expert !  Also, we have been told that she’s some type of dwarf breed. 

In the end, identifying what she is is not too important, but it’s just bugging me. I have an itch to know, hahaha !

Looking at this forum, you guys seem to know a lot about bunnies ! That’s why I’m hoping you’d lend a fellow bunny owner a hand.

By the way, her name is Coquine. In French, it means means “Naughty” (and believe me she is !). But pronounced in English, it sounds like “cocaine”, which is oddly fitting considering her nose !

Her name is great, lol! I dont know much about breeds but wanted to comment that she is super adorable

It looks like it’s part Japanese Harlequin to me, based on its colouring.

If her eyes are brown, then her white markings suggest Dutch is mixed in there somewhere. She could be Vienna marked (it can occur without blue eyes), but her tube-shaped body screams Dutch to me. Her pattern is harlequin. It is a breed as well, but the pattern has since been introduced to many different breeds. So it’s hard to tell what her other half is. She could be a mix of a bunch of different breeds.

So you think the lil’ white patches she has (on her nose and on her left front paw) could be the result of a mix ? Possibly Dutch ? I googled Harlequin rabbit and it does look like it matches her colour. Only, Coquine is way paler in colour than her fellow Harlequin bunnies. I wonder why that is. 

I looked up for New Zealand Red rabbits and it seems like their body shape matches my bunny’s. Could this be a possibility as well ?

Mind you, she is not very big. She is now a little over 5 months old and it doesn’t look like she’s getting any bigger. I could be wrong though, I’m a first timer with rabbits ! Also, yes, she has a tube-like body. She’s lanky/elongated. She’s pretty slim as well. She has short fur, but she does have big “eyebrows” over her eyes, as seen in the last picture I uploaded.

Can a bunny have more than 2 mixes in them ? Can they be “mutts” ? If so, do you guys think that’s the case for my bun, possibly making the hunt to find her breed(s) more challenging ?

She is beautiful! Bunnies can definitely be “mutts” as all breeds of domestic rabbits are able to breed with each other. Really this just makes her more special and unique

Not much causes white markings like that. It’s usually either the Vienna gene or the Dutch gene. Her eye color and body shape suggest Dutch to me. So yes, her white markings could be due to the Dutch gene. As for the harlequin pattern, it can vary from very bold to more diluted. Since the pattern has been introduced to many breeds, including Dutch (although it isn’t recognized in the US yet), it’s hard to know for sure. She could be the result of a breeder trying to mix the harlequin pattern into their Dutch rabbits. Or she could be a mix of many different breeds and is essentially a mutt.
