  For the past 8 weeks Mr. Hopper has had increaseingly been less energetic and has become almost lathargic. He is not having normal stools and have visited the vet a few times now. he keeps passing sticky dark stools that cling to him where we have to clean him everyday. the vet thought it was just his diet at first, but we adjusted that and no results. then the vet said it might be an infection so we put him on antibiotics, no luck. Now he is doing blood tests because he may think Mr. Hopper might have some type of cancer. So now we are just trying to make him comfortable as we can for now. any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

  Oh no, vibes to Mr. Hopper. Has your vet done an x-ray? Maybe looked at his heart?

  The vet didnt do x-rays he refered us to another vet that only deals with rabbits and small animals so hopefully I will get some info soon.

  everything came back negitive on him, so we are watching him and he is only allowed to eat timothy hay for now.

  Has he been tested for parasites? How was his diet adjusted? What was it before the adjustment? I hope he feels better soon.

  the parisite tests were negitive, his diet before was pellets and timothy hay. now its just hay, and so far today no bad poops. Here’s to hoping. he even played today and did a few binkeys

  So far he has done a lot better, I guess he just is no longer tolerant of the pellets. Still sneak him a snack here and there but he is good.
