My six month old (human child) recently started to crawl and I discovered I need a creative solution to keep him out of a litter box   I have the main litter box/food area set up so it’s basically a maze and that keeps him out of there (pictured below).  This won’t work for the other litter box though because it is in front of the closet door in the living room.  The litter box needs to be small and just slide out of the way when the door is open so we can get our coats.  I’ve tried moving the litter box but Moonpaw will still go to the bathroom there anyway.  So I need some way to have a small, easily moveable litter box that a bunny can get into but a baby won’t notice/can’t get into.  It’s asking for a lot!

Can you put a cardboard box over it with a hole only your rabbit can go through? The darkness may dissuade your baby?

That seems a really obvious solution and I hadn’t thought of it haha. Will the box keep the bunny from wanting to use it or are they okay with enclosed litter boxes like that?

Some buns love enclosed litter boxes! You might even want to try an actual cat box that has a top and bottom with an opening in the front and you can turn it sideways so the human baby will only see the side of it and not see it as interesting!
