  At first I wanted to name my bunny Noah but I didnt stick to it!! She is not a Noah (yeah she is a girl) and I want to find something that suits her moreSo any suggestions?? I dont want a name that sounds too “american” cause we are from Greece! thanks

  She does look like a little lion who stepped in black paint on the right and white paint on the left. How would you say ‘little lion’ in Greek? Or, I like ‘Sesame’ for her.

  Okay, I don’t want to get off topic, but my Calypso INSISTED that I set the record straight: he is adamant that, while it is technically a feminine name, Calypso is also a great, rugged name for manly, manly buns like him. Oh, and he also wanted me to say *thump!*
  
  Getting back to name suggestions… I also think that “Sesame” is cute. And I love the mythology name ideas (That’s probably obvious, as my buns are Echo and Calypso!) Athena is cute. Or Hera. Let us know what you decide.

  In Latin, Phoebe is actually the feminine form of Phoebus which is Apollo….and Apollo’s twin sister is ARTEMIS…..so they are almost one in the same!

  I do love Artemis! But then I like Pheobe too!! I take AGES picking a name…. but she definately suits either one, (and I do think she suits the ones I’ve mentioned too) hehe

  I am reminded of the last scene in All About Eve, where an aspiring actress sneaks into Eve’s room and is discovered by her friend. He says “what’s your name?” Phoebe, she says. Phoebe he repeats in some surprise. She sticks her nose up and says “I call myself Phoebe.” (chosen stage name.) He says “and why not?”

  I know what my problem is…I never had a pet before and I think I sound silly when I call her by a name…so I’m stuck with like 5 stupid nicknames lol. Did any of you had such a problem ?
  I just LOVE the name Lotti but I’m having a hard time using it..!!

  LOL! so happy I never had to pick a name for a pet! Buttercup was named before we even got him by my bf daughter. Lily was already named when we got him, and Boo’s is “tyson’s” nickname from my mom! Tyson’s got his name after the boxer, cause his paws are like boxing gloves & he bites! He was a real boo boo! LOL! That’s all she could say to him when she was mad! LOL! I’ve called him alot worse when he was a kitten! LOL! Lily know’s his name, also my binky bunny, my good “girl”, & momma’s lil “girl”! LOL! You will find a name that sticks one day!

  I think I’m settled on Phoebe finally…. Phoebe of FRIENDS cause she’s so weird and unique hehe ..like my girl! Now guys, I have no idea how to teach her her name. She never responds when I call her. How do I make this work? Should I just use it frequently?

  I think Phoebe’s a great name for her. Charlie learned his quickly, I said it whenever I touched him, fed or gave him treats and by the 3rd day he was turning when I called him.
