I have just noticed a weird lesion on Myrtles back. I am going to book in ANOTHER vet visit but I was just wondering if anyone knew what it might be?

Its dry and it doesn’t appear to be irritating her — hence why i have only just spotted it.

I am just having so much back luck at the minute, with Finns Mites as well.

I have checked her fur and no sign of mites that Finn has.

Someone has suggested it could be a local reaction to an vac or injection — she has just been spayed so it could be from that.

I was about to ask if she had been injected recently. In any case, I would contact the vet to have the crust examined

Bombur had the same thing after his neuter. He fidgeted during the sub-q fluids and it caused something like that to form. The vet said to put some Neosporin on it or Silvadene and it would take care of itself. But, a vet visit never hurt, except the wallet xD

                Thanks Guys

I need to arrange a call with my vet and speak to him about Finn anyway and his reaction to the Drop On meds for his Mites. So I will add this in there too!

I hope this is “just” from the IV going in, that sounds very likely. But I’m curious about Finn’s reaction. Ivermectin is supposed to be really safe for buns. Please update us if your vet has anything to say about the reaction.
