I was inspired to write this by a thread that I had come across from awhile back. I wanted to take a moment to publicly thank my little Dizzie girl for being my very best furry friend. My little girl is so sweet to me and so sassy to EVERYONE else!
She swats and growls and lunges at anyone in her path, but my girl is so sweet and loving with me. She’s always there when I need to “talk” and when I am sad, she lets me cuddle and hold her. One time I had such a horrible day and I just sat on the floor and cried. She came over to me and placed her little white paw on my leg as if to say, “its ok, mama, I’m here!” My heart melted at the moment and I stopped crying and laughed. It was one of the most heartwarming situations that I have ever experienced in my life. My girl is always there for me and loves me no matter what (even after taking her in for a nail trim). I never knew that I could love somebunny so much. I adore the “pants” off of that little girl and would do anything to keep her happy and healthy. Having a bunny, especially my Dizzie, had been one of the most rewarding things in my life. I am happy to say that I have “rescued” each of my bunns. My first, Cupcake, was a Humane Society bunny and Dizzie, Spike and Derby all came from a local rabbit rescue. I may have saved them from being homeless, but they have all saved my life in many different ways. Dizzie is my precious little princess and I will love her and keep her safe for the rest of her life. Thank you, Dizzie!
