Okay so i finally have a setup for Riley that works out good for both of us!Riley and i share a room and he runs loose but at night he sleeps in a cage. The cage also is where he goes to  use his litter box, eat , and go to sleep on his new comfy bed! Here are some pics!

This is Riley on his stuffed dog…he uses it as a rug. lol

         His new bed!

Riley in his bed. This makes him look tiny!

This is where all of his ‘ outside cage toys’ are.

This is where his food, water, main source of hay, litter box, and bed are. I dont ever put him in there besides at night { ik its a little small but i dnt think he minds because its just for night!}   I hope you like it!

Can I ask how long he stays in the cage overnight?  It is VERY small, and most bunnies are crepescular, most active at dawn and dusk, so if he’s in there at either of those times, he may not have enough space to be active.

If he stays in there for any extended period of time, I’d suggest getting some NIC cubes to attach to it.  Cheap and easy fix.

Hes only in there from 9pm until about 3pm….i recorded him one night to see what he did and if i should get a bigger cage and all he does is sleep in there when hes in there…if he starts to get hyper, i bring him out!

If you are talking about 9 p.m. to 3 p.m. the next day that really is way to long for him to be in there, sorry!! I would suggest maybe try something like NIC cubes or an xpen attatched so he could hop around, stretch out, and stand up a bit. He might not get hyper like most rabbits, but you also might not notice him just moving around a little while your sleeping. I like the bed you got him and Riley is so cute, he looks huggable.

x-pen sounds like a great idea.  And of course we will require pics of the bunny in his new x-pen.

riley is such a handsome guy and I he will appreciate the extra space. I run a camera on my girls that has a monator setting that records when it detects motion and they are more active than one realizes. cause rabbits are quiet and don’t bark or whine like dogs and don’t meow like cats it is hard to know what they want or need. He sure is gorgious.

Glad you’re giving him an x-pen, when they don’t have a lot of space they will kind of lay around even if otherwise they’d be more active (until they get really bored, then it’s “OMG LET ME OUT OF HERE”). I am sure he’ll appreciate the extra room.

                            He’s a real cutie.
