My Pending, Excitement Making Order

So I recently ordered a Maze Haven and a willow toy for my rabbit and the suspense of whether my rabbit will like the stuff or not and what the surprise gift is killing me! I have the feeling the surprise gift will have to somewhat relate to the Fourth of July but I’m sorta clueless.

I went of vacation for 2 days and my rabbit was basically alone (except for a friend coming to give her food). I was actually planning to get her a playhouse from this site, and I figured it would also be a good gift due to the lack of company she had for a few days.

This brings me to a few questions. If you got a mini haven or maze haven, how did your rabbit feel about it? Also, Is the surprise gift one of those paper bags filled with hay and a treat that some people were talking about?

I just received the Maze Haven I ordered for Merida- she was really wary of it at first, but then hopped through it a couple times. Now she likes to go in and just hang out in one of the larger “rooms”

 

Edit: during the afternoon, with a one-story set up, she seemed to just hang out in the largest space within the maze; in the evening I switched it to two stories, and she seems fascinated by it and is spending a lot of time on the second floor, hopping around and trying to dig (??)

Lol, you are too cute! I was actually the same way when I made my first order with the BB store. The surprise gift was exactly that, a bag of mixed hay. I remember getting all excited and showing Nugget, but he couldn’t have cared less. I think he actually peed on it when I put it in his litterbox =(

I actually made my own “maze haven” by cutting random holes in a few brown boxes and connecting them together for Nugget to hop in and out of. He loves it! I’m thinking about getting the Cottontail Cottage since my boxes are not sturdy enough to create levels and he loves to climb things lol.
