I picked up my new ranchus on Wednesday, and I couldn’t help but get a Ryukin and a Calico Pearlscale too!
My panda orandas are very very hard to find right now, I asked them to pick me up an all black one and I’ll be happy.
Here they are in all their glory!

A black ranchu….he looks more olive to me, I got 2 of this color, I think they are so pretty!
Haha when one is in focus, someone is not. Blurrrr….omg see how the orange and black Ryukin has black upper lipstick….I think I’m going to name her Lady Gaga!

I am really happy with the tank. My mom talked sense into me with my oscar Pearl ….I had some serparation issues…
So I decided to setup the 50 gallon again, and no one was home to help me bring it back into the house. So I slid it from the driveway, into the garage, through the family room and then into my room. I somehow slid it over my foot, and ripped off my big toes nail halfway down…..I was wearing flipflops. Blood starts going everywhere….but it doesn’t hurt yet….so I keep going. I’m like some crazy fish lady. Mind you there was lots of grunting and cursing, the darn thing was still full of gravel and heavier than heck. So I get it all setup, bring the hose through my window and fill it up, adding hot water by hand. I am ready to put the filter in and……the fan won’t fit in where it’s supposed to go…..it burnt out and melted so the hole closed up halfway. It’s a brand new filter too. So you have to imagine the amount of frustration that I just had because it took me an hour to get the thing into my room and I just filled it all the way up!!!!!!!!!!!! So my options were to get another, but I just got this one last week and it was their last one, I don’t know if they got another….or get a different type of filter like a canister but I’m pretty tight on money and don’t want to drop over 100$ on that when I JUST spent 50$ on all those new goldies. AAAAArrrrrrrrrrrrrgh. So I vent to my mom and she told me to give her to Moon’s so someone can purchase her that has a larger tank so she will be happier. It made me feel better because she is right. I don’t have ideal tanks for large fish like her. So when I took her to Moon’s yesterday ….lol…..I made the guys shuffle all these arowana out of a 55 long tank and put her in it ALONE. I’ve been going to this fishstore since I was 5 years old so they like me a lot and know how attatched I am to my fish. I’ve had to give them oscars before that were fighting too much, it sucks but plane and simple that 50 gallon tall tank I have is only good for like a community tank or a reef tank. And I do not have the money or time right now for a reef tank again….but beleive me I have all my lava rock to do it again someday!!!! Well my toe hurts a bit, sometimes I do wonder about myself but hey I got the job done. I even drained it out again and moved it back outside myself lol!!!

Goldfish are my favorite. I worked in a fish store and got to clean the tanks and decide what to buy and whatnot. I was always attached to the goldies! I had mine for 8 years and he went from a 2 gallon to a 5 gallon to a 10 gallon to a 29 gallon and now he’s in a 55! I had to give him up last year when I moved because I just don’t have any room here in this apartment.
I do miss the little nugget though!
I love how many you have! They will be SO happy in that tank! Have you given them duckweed? My goldie LOVED it.
