Both of my bunnies are rescues from the APL. Scout I got about 8 years ago, and Hatter a couple years after that so I’ve have been through the whole bonding process.

My now old bunnies (about 8 1/2 years old) are sweeter than ever, super cuddly and still very active and hyper. They’re also still mostly healthy; Hatter has arthritis that he takes metacam for when it bothers him, and scout gets occasional poopy butt.

Scout is a lion-head and a drama queen. She’s extremely smart: very good at listening and communicating. She’s a very loyal rabbit and I love her to pieces. She and I just get each other, it’s hard to explain.

Hatter is a California rabbit (his ears and nose change color with the seasons.) He is the friendliest rabbit ever and loves fighting his stuffed animals. I have to get the tough stuffed toys made for dogs because he plays so rough with his toys. He acts more like a puppy than a bunny, and is always showing off. He’s soooo lovable and loving but the one he loves the most is Scout.

Both rabbits like watching Disney movies (they pretend to sing along), cleaning, playing outside, and entertaining company.

I’ve included a pic of hatter enjoying the pillow I got them for Christmas (looks like he needs to be brushed here, lol). Scout is in the background (it’s hard to get a picture of her because she’s camera shy)
