Hi, I’m Gwendoline! I’m a ghostwriter from New Zealand, and after getting my first rabbit in July (RIP Teddy boy), I’m definitely a crazy bunny lady. I’ve checked out these forums for advice for a while now, but I only just joined up.
After our tragic loss a month ago, my partner and I recently adopted a new bundle of fluff, a lop named Buffy. She’s been here for just over a week now, and she’s coming out of her shell to be a precocious little princess. We already love her TONS. She enjoys throwing things around (mostly at me), she’s a digger, and she craves constant affection (which is why it’s great that I work from home).
She was taken in by the SPCA after being found wandering along the side of the road, and no one came forward to claim her. Now she’s microchipped and spayed and she’ll never go without a home again! They reckon she’s about a year old, but there’s no way to know for sure.

She loves snuggling in bed (and sitting on top of her dad’s head sometimes).

It took us a while to work out what her favourite treats were (she didn’t like apple or banana, which were Ted’s favourites), but it turns out she’s a cliche who goes nuts for carrot!

When it comes to convincing her to listen to us, however, treats aren’t nearly as good a bribe as pats are. This little girl will do anything if she thinks she can get attention out of it.
Thanks for listening to me coo over my baby, and I look forward to getting to know you more!
