Ok so I made a cardboard box and I put a bed in it for her.  She keeps diging at the bed.  Does that mean she does not like it in there.  It doesnt mean she is stressed if she is digging does it?  She seems very calm so far.  We are in the same room with her but she is in the cage and we go over once in a while and say hi.  I just dont want to stress her.  Also why does my water bottle keep leaking!!

Bunnies like to dig. Be careful that she does not dig or chew a hole in there. If she eats the stuffing, she can get a blockage. Sometimes a plain piece of folded fleece is safer than a pet bed.

Wilbur digs at random things all the time. You could make your bun a diggy box (cardboard box with shredded phonebook paper). Water bottles tend to leak often, in my experience a heavy ceramic water bowl works best (:

My bun loves a “tunnel” built from the box my hubby’s golf clubs came in. Ask the businesses in your area if they have some irregular sized boxes if you haven’t recently purchased golf clubs, lol……

The bunny water bottle is leaking? I would try a heavy water bowl…

Well bunnies love to dig both of my bunnies dig. I have cardboard boxes in both of my bunnies cage and female doesn’t have a blanket in hers. My male rabbit does have soft bedding underneath because he is disabled and can’t move but does manage to dig and make a big mess. I would definately get a heavy water crock.

Digging at the bed doesn’t mean she’s stressed. She’s calmly but determinedly digging because: Bunnies dig up, and claw up, and chew up soft materials to make their own bedding. As someone else said, you need to be sure she isn’t ingesting any, and a piece of fleece or fleece pet mat might be preferable because of it. Bunnies love to fluff up the kind of filler and fibers found in common cat and dog pet beds. That takes some chewing and digging. She isn’t stressed, she’s just being a bunny. As long as she’s not ingesting any of the fluff she’s digging it up into, she’ll probably stop after she’s dug some up and is content with the quantity she’s dug up. My bunnies do a little chewing and digging in their bedding, then they come to a stopping point.
And, water bottles can tend to leak, you have to find one that doesn’t leak. The one i have from Petco.com doesn’t leak and it’s a good bottle.

This is a good non-leaking water bottle, the Petco brand one. Get the 16 oz one, it has a floating duck in it to indicate the water level:

You’ll also want to get a chew guard for a 16 oz size bottle.

The chew guard is available from Petco.com also, just type chew guard in the search box.
