Honestly, even if there are people that don’t like animals, at least respect them and don’t hurt them.

The people that do it for money. Greed.

I know that if each of us on this board alone work together to support anti-crush legislation that we can give our bunnies (and all of the potential animal victims) an active voice! All we need to do is contact our Senators today! Please take the moment to do this quickly/simply through ALDF’s (Animal Legal Defense Fund) website, I have provided the link below. I am a student member of ALDF through Valpariaso University Law School and I believe that ALDF provides a ton of useful information for anyone who loves animals.

I must admit, I didn’t read the full artiicle. I’m feeling to sensitive for it today and not ready for the revulsion. I’ve learnt 2 things. That this “fetish” exists  AND that there movement on a legislation against these videos.

I just can’t understand people. How can there be people who are so cruel? What sort of life do these people live? To take pleasure in hurting innocent animals and people is the worst crime. But for every sicko there are good people out there. People who can make a difference.

When I first heard about this thread, my first reaction was to delete it as it is just so disgusting and we try to stay away from activist type subjects because of a different kind of tone it can bring to the forum if done on a regular bases —as we try to focus on the day to day care of bunnies. And there are plenty of sites where you can take action for things of this nature.

However, since the original post has been edited down with a warning supplied and another  member, EveryPossibleWorld, offered an easy way to take action without having to dig through some horrible images —by offering a link with a pre-written letter you can send to your local senators, then I will keep it unless I receive enough opposition requesting the thread be taken down.   For your convenience I have reposted the link to Animal Legal Defense Fund Petition link below

NOTE: DO NOT POST links to videos or any more graphic articles regarding this subject.  ANY new threads on this subject will be deleted. Please report any new threads for immediate deletion. It’s one of those things that if someone posts a link to a video, it can have the “car wreck” effect, where you don’t want to look when you pass by, but sometimes your curiosity gets the best of you and then you have a horrible image stuck in your head for the rest of your life. IF someone wants to become more of an activist about this, and research to figure out a way to stop it then you can do that on your own without sharing it with other members. DO NOT post direct links for easy access.

It’s one thing to offer options to take action, and it’s another just to just horrify and share the misery of shock.  Though some use the later to outrage, it can have such a traumatizing effect that a person can’t do anything but just try to block it out which can mean zero action.   

I am now rethinking my decision to even let this thread stand as another horrible thread popped up with video regarding this subject, which was deleted.

The last link provided http://www.aldf.org/article…5 should be sufficient enough for you to take action without scarring your brain for life.   So if you want to do something about it, then it’s a good place to start, and let’s just leave it at that..
