I usually let my bunny hop around my room while I sit on my computer, but he seems to eat everything.. carpet, tape, a Styrofoam display board, paper, my trumpet case, etc. How do I stop him from eating all of this, and will it kill him?

That’s normal. Especially for a young bunny. You need to do a very thorough bunny proofing of the room. Anytime a bunny eats something indigestible, there is a risk of a blockage, which can be very serious.

As LPT says, eating non-food can be dangerous for a bunny. Try to put things out of his teach, cover carpet with fleece blankies (there are really cheap ones at IKEA and elsewhere), give him one or two upside down cardboard box(Es) with one door-hole on either side, perhaps a digging-box with shredded newspaper in it. Hopefully he’ll start to remodel his cardboard houses and dig in the box or in the fleece blankies instead of eating your stuff. But beware, esp of anything cord-like. Buns love snipping electrical cords.

Agreed that its pretty normal for a rabbit to want to atleast taste everything, and also agreeing that it can be dangerous for your bun. If he eats something he shouldnt, make sure he is eating, drinking, and pooping normally. If you notice any changes, youll want to contact the vet. It also might help if you look into bunny proofing items. I recently had to bunny proof some new phone charges since ours had been mysteriously chewed…

My Blue has eaten a ton of things he shouldnt. Hes stolen bits of my dinners (sandwiches, crackers, chips, cereal, ect) before. He likes to eat whatever im eating, even if it means lunging at me to steal a bite. When he does manage to steal a bite of my food, i always tempt him with a little more hay than normal. I will pretend to eat a bit of fresh hay and make a lot of “mmmm” noises and “this is so yummy!”. By that point, hes all over the hay like its coated in sugar
