For my fellow shoppers…I thought a dose of Hello Kitty dressed in a bunny suit would brighten your day.
Gotta love Sanrio!

Sooo cute n.n
Babybun enjoys sanrio

I think my hubby may dislike you… he doesn’t want people fueling my Hello Kitty and bunny addiction :p
I do not like hello kitty but the bunny stuff is cute
My sincere apologies to the hubbies/bf’s of our members who are upset with me for tempting their significant others with shopping links. *nods* I know how you feel, as my hubby feels the same way. He’d like to revoke my internet access and take control of my pocketbook, permanently. >.<
Tab, I didn’t use to like Hello Kitty, but my daughter got into one of the offshoots named Baby Cinnamon (Cinnamoroll) some years ago and it has kind of worked it’s way under my skin. xD Quite a few of the other characters are cute and tend to make me smile when I see them. ![]()
Aw…2lops! ^_^ I love the Sugarbunnies, they are so precious!
They’ve changed their name now though to the Sugarminuets and they’re little ballerina bunnies. I have a few of the plushies of them, (not Shirousa or Kirousa).
Babybun is so adorable! *blows kiss*![]()
I like the navy blue ones.
(I am pinked out today – Barbie exhibit brought out the whole staff in various shades of pink. It’s beginning to get very Pepto Bismol at work. That blue is soothing.)
Hoegeeze…Barbie-con! >.< You have my sincere sympathies, Pam! *pats you on the back*
The blue ones are very nice. I got the ballpoint pen with the mascot on the clip. I get lots of comments on my pens in the grocery store. lolz….
These remind me a bit of in-training Digimon. Little bobble creatures…teehee. Like Sarah’s moving .gif of the blob bunny.
OK, you’ve lost me to game-speak. *looks up in-training Digimon in Wikipedia. Finds an alphabetical list of dozens of names. Still baffled.*
Explain in terms a Barbie could understand. Use hand puppets and illustrations.
lolz…
Okay…Digimon = Digital Monsters (think Pokemon, but cuter and with a larger vocabulary)
Here’s a few pix of some basic (in-training is like a baby) Digimon:
Botamon
Snow Botamon (or Yukimibotamon)
Shaomon (looks like a little lop-eared bunny)

And while I’m on a roll, here’s also Rabbitmon and Lopmon…two of my favorite bunny digimon (these are not the in-training ones though):

Perhaps you can see by the shape of the first three little digis why the cell charms from Sanrio remind me of them.
*off to make new siggies and avvies, now that these images are handy*

That exhibition has been going a while hasn’t it? Could you wear black and go as “Biker Barbie”? Is there even a biker barbie….?
MM – before you change your siggy pic, is the current one an older pic of Mimzy? Doing a little tongue flip – lol, so funny! Apparently that’s hereditary.
All these figures you’ve mentioned have cool names – good inspiration for pet names.
That was one of the first pix I ever got of Mimzy, when he was still running wild at the hubby job.
Always looked to me like he had a snaggletooth…lolz!
aw, plushie bunnies! I saw some of those (of the sugarbunnies) on the internet but quickly got out of the sanrio phase after I bought some sort of handbag thing then realized I would never actually take it out in public
Shaomon (looks like
little lop-eared bunny*eyes perfect circular body* Pudge) >.<

It only seems like it’s been a while. There’s quite a while to go. I’ve just been researching it (OK, stop laughing about researching Barbie. Some days I love my job LOL) for months. It runs June 25th thorugh October 25th. Then we’re on to a Pinball Machine exhibit. I have a VERY whimsical Executive Director, who, unlike my boss the Museum Director, is bored with Art. Can you tell?
Yes, there are actually 8 different Harley Davidson Barbies. AND, Barbie has come in 108 careers, in designer gowns (Bob Mackie’s are beautiful!!!) and all nationalities from around the globe. It’s really cool once you look at it’s history over the last 50 years. I can’t remember what day it is, but I can tell you all sorts of trivia about Barbie.
The two most unusual dolls I think were Earring Magic Ken, that became a collector’s item popular with gay men, and Pregnant Midge. That was pulled in less then 3 months on the shelves. She had a wedding ring (Boyfriend Brad married her), and the tummy was big, round, attached to her body with magnets, and had a little infant inside the tummy that came out when you pulled it off. Came with a maternity dress and swaddling cloth for the baby. What more can I say? We weren’t able to get one for the show.
Darn, should’ve taken this opportunity to send you all my daughter’s old Barbies for the show…you wouldn’t have had to send them back….lolz.
And what? No “Blossoming Skipper Doll” or whatever she was called? The one with the magically growing boobies? xD
And don’t feel bad about the eclectic…or eccentric as the case may be. OUR “Great Museum of the North” decided a few years ago that we needed to have an Outhouse exhibit.
Yes, you read that right. OUTHOUSES.
I’d hold my nose and vote no on anything like that, thank you very much. ^_^
MM, how did we miss that one???!!! It was called “Growing Up Skipper”. I just emailed myself at work to look it up later in the week. That is too much.
You are never to mention the Outhouse Exhibit to any of my bosses. Never. I won’t be responsible.

lolz….”Mum’s” the word!

Are there really new Skippers who “blossom” ? Wow! I’m going to have to look this up now. Lol!
*groans at MM*
Sorry, Lintini, they’re not new. They came, and went, in 1975.
That Skipper is a forty-something now. She blossomed, she sagged. Couldn’t afford plastic surgery like her big BIG sister.
She blossomed, she sagged??? xD BWAHAHA! They should do that!
Yanno…maybe there should be a breast cancer Barbie? Instead of growing, they come off and leave scars. Now that would be a teaching tool.
Pardon my bawdy dark humor, I just find the whole thing so funny…lolz.
Ditto Mimz – ”BWAHAHA!” Oh Pam!
and Mimz, only a survivor could think of that! Humour is good!
…I ended up chewing her legs too…..I’m more like a rabbit than I realised!
I’m starting to lose it – the Barbie humor around work has been going on for months.
Bite Me Barbie. I think it’ll sell.
