Mucous poo

I need advice for my sister’s flemish giant. She just got it yesterday, its about 8 weeks old amd very friendly, hoping around and checking everything out, eatting fine all day and even went outside to play for a bit and ran around out there but when it was outside it pooped a kind of liquid poop with a couple hardish poops in it, then just straight yellow mucous and now hasnt pooped in a couple hours. It drank 2 bowls of water since yesterday and is still active and hopping around amd such and the vet said that the yellow mucous could be caused from stress from just moving to a new place but they were too concerned, I was hoping to just get ppls opinions on it and if they had any similar experience with bringing home a new bunny. His stomach isn’t hard at all, its doughy feeling like it should be. But in still concerned about the yellow mucous and the fact that it hasnt pooped since.

Also where she got it from it wasn’t in the best conditions and she feeds it a good quality pellet. The person she got it from didn’t tell jer what she fed then when she called back to ask, amd it has unlimited timothy hay, and small alfalfa cubes and I did have her take the pellets away though and just offer hay and fresh water.

Liquid poop is not safe. Coupled with it drinking a ton of water then sudden stop in pooping all together, something is likely wrong. I would suggest visiting another rabbit certified vet and having a fecal test done if possible. Diarrhea can mean a lot of things for rabbits, some easy to cure, some not. Either way, I suggest seeing an emergency vet if possible. If not, schedule with a different vet asap.
