so currently my bunny live in a bunny proofed room ( 56 sq feet) and she’s by herself. the room is across my room. I’m planning to move her into my room because she’s by herself and I’m not always in her room and I feel like she might get sad and depressed. I wanted to adopt another bunny when she’s spayed ( she’s only around 4-5 months old). She’s the sweetest thing she always wanted cuddles, petting,  and food ( no picking up tho) and it breaks my heart to see her just alone in her room sometimes. I feel like I’m a bad owner because I can’t give her enough love. I’m busy with school and work  at the same time. the max time I can give her is around 5 hrs. But my problem is I have a DIY hamster cage with no lid in my room. It’s not a small cage either it’s around 1500 sq inches and it’s super heavy because it’s made from wood. My hamster is around 7 months. should I move him to the bunny room and move my rabbit to my room? I feel like that’s unfair to my hamster. But then again I can’t have them both in the same room  ( my rabbit will jump into the hamster cage). Please give me some kind of  opinion and advice please

Hmmm. My first thought was 5 hours?????? That’s more than I give charlie. I’d say if you give your bunny enough toys and space to run around, and monitor her fresh hay and water supply, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Even if you went in there while you did homework, she’d still be bonding with you and she’d fell like you’re spending time with her. I wish you the best of luck!

Five hours is a lot! Don’t feel guilty for not being there all the time. I’m sure she’d like it in your room, but I’m also sure she’s fine in the bunny room. Like binkies2010 said, sitting with her while doing homework/reading/schoolwork is a great way to spend time with her. Lots of toys can help her not be bored while you’re away.
