Move is set for Wednesday and Thursday, woohoo! I want get the bunnys’ emergency box set up today to have it ready to be moved over and unpacked first, along with the bunnies themselves. What should I put in the emergency box?
Right now, I have set aside a bag of pellets, neosporin, gauze, treats, cranberry juice (one bun prone to UTIs in stressful situations), and all of their toys. Theres two pet stores within a five minute drive, so Im not worried about hay (as posted in another thread, one pet store has an aisle full of all types of hay!). The pet stores also have Critical Care, so Im not worried about that either. Im also changing their litter for the last time today until after the move, since Ive read keeping a dirty litter box can help them feel more at home because of their smells.
What else should I put into their box? What else should I prepare for the bunnies to make the move easier on them? How can I help them relax for the first few days/weeks after the move to help them settle in?
**An emergency box is the first box that gets moved over and unpacked. For humans, it usually has things like a towel or two, some clothes, tooth brush and tooth paste, phone charger, ect.
