She WAS so tiny!
After how upsetting it was to have Pietro gone, we went searching for a new bun. The house was too quiet and lifeless without him. We still miss him and a company I work with blew up a picture of him for me and he hangs over the TV in all his disapproving glory!
We’ve had India for a bit now and everything is good! We think she’sa mini-rex. We adopted her from a kid across town whos buns got a little to frisky with eachother. Shes golden with tiger stripes! Possibly the coolist looking fur around! I would put pictures, but my camera takes them in super-large mode.
In hindesite, she was too young to come home with us, but I dont think she was getting much milk from her mom anyway. So after a week or so we started her on KRM and have since weaned her off. She had some stomach issues but she went to the vet and got meds and we’re free and clear now. Hopefully we wont go back to the vet for a couple months when shes spayed.
She’s daddy’s little princess, sometimes I think she thinks shes a person. She gets up on the bed and lays down with us while we watch TV. He thinks shes part cat too, she does the cutest thing when shes cleaning… streatching out her leg then her toes and cleans between them ahahahaa
Anyones rabbits have wierd fascinations? India loves to clean on her dads hair. Hes got short thick hair hair and she could lick it for hours. Sometimes she tries to chew it out. She gets pretty agressive with him, tries to pull his head down so she has better access to the hair. Very odd bun! But so much personality!
If anyone likes to read I highly recommend “Tell Me Where it Hurts” by Dr Nick Trout!!! Awesome awesome awesome! Newfound respect for the vets!
