Today is the big day, we’ve moved the bunnies into their designated bunny room. They’re penned in at the moment. I’ve got a table that they usually like laying under in with them as well as their (soiled) litter trays, water bowl, carrier with blankets in as well as a log tunnel and a favourite toy of theirs.
We’ve got a radio playing so they have background noise altho I’m currently sat in with them whilst watching YouTube. Anyway, I am really worried. They both came out of their carrier – Buttercup explored and has since retreated back to the carrier and is laying down. She doesn’t usually spend a lot of time in the carrier unless we put her in there! She refused a piece of dried chicory root earlier but h’s just eaten a piece of dill. Peanut has jumped into one of the litter trays and has pretty much stayed there. He’s eaten a piece of dried chicory and a piece of dill. He’s also just started munching a piece of hay omg I’m so happy
I think one reason he had stayed in the litter tray is because the flooring is laminate but there is a rug down. He’s funny about new flooring tho anyway.
Edit: He actually came out of the litter tray and is now bunny loafed on the rug after I hand fed him some hay. Buttercup is flopped in the carrier

Well I am happy to report that Buttercup has since come out of the carrier, explored, eaten some hay and pellets, pooped and is now chilling under the log tunnel (very normal)
Peanut has also eaten a little more hay and has pooped and is laying down on one of the blankets I put down. Woo! So relieved. Peanut is a little on edge with the dogs barking sounds but he’s not too bad. I’ve been playing dog barking sounds daily over the last week or so and I think that’s helped him be and little less shocked by them in real life. Buttercup isn’t bothered in the slightest by the dog barks. -
Well they’ve done a whole lot better than I thought, especially Peanut! They are still a little on edge but that’s hardly surprising. Otherwise, all is well. Both are eating well – not as much as normal but still a decent amount. And they’re pooping well too. Buttercup is laying under the tunnel a lot whilst Peanut is bunny loafed and eating his willow corn
Will be interesting sleeping in there tonight! -

Both buns did really well last night, I slept with them and they were pretty chilled. Peanut was a little on edge this morning and didn’t eat all of his romaine but he has eaten a couple of pellets, some dandelion and hay and is still pooping plenty. His poops are a little smaller than his normal ones but that happens sometimes for seemingly no reason. Buttercup is absolutely fine. Eating and pooping as normal. They’re both exploring again now. Well Buttercup is trying to get out of the pen I’ll leave it as it is for another day and then I’ll extend. In terms of their relationship with each other, they are acting normal. They’ve not snuggled as such but have laid next to each other during the night a little. No grooming but I suspect Buttercup is too busy planning the great escape -
BBunnies are doing so well guys! I’ve extended the pen now so they’ve got virtually the whole room. Going to wait a couple of days and then give them access to the hallway. I’m so relieved. They’ve eaten tons of hay today and of course pooped mountains
Even think I saw one bun grooming the other during the night. I say think because I was half asleep and there’s a big possibility I dreamt it Partner saw Peanut grooming Buttercup earlier today though. Had quite a lot of flopping from both buns too today and yesterday which honestly surprised me. I didn’t expect flops for a while! Only minor issue is 4 pee accidents in the last 2 days – one at 3am, culprit unsure of. Other three accidents in the last few hours and Buttercup is the culprit
Never mind aye! Tonight I’ll be sleeping in my bedroom but I will check on them during the night. -

That was a good idea about playing barking dog sounds!
You know, if P&B had been having any squabbles leading up to the move, the move could work in your favour as it’s giving them neutral territory and limiting space to sort things out. Nice to see they are acting lovey dovey. -
Both buns are very happy and comfortable now
Buttercup was binkying like mad yesterday morning. Peanut tends to be a bit more discreet with his binkies (he does them super early) So hopefully he’s doing them whilst we sleep lol. The dog barking barely even gets a reaction from them unless it’s Nala’s high pitched yowl but even with that, Peanut just looks up and then carries on with what he was doing. Oh and only one more accident since the previous post

I’m so glad to see your babies are doing well now! ❤️ I’m moving soon and am so worried about my baby being stressed and not eating!
he has moved before but it’s been over a year since then. Ahhhh!
Good luck with your move! I’m starting to wonder if rabbits adapt better than humans! So hopefully it will all go smoothly
