Hello everyone! Once again, sorry for the long absence. I’m nearing the end of my very first year of being a bunslave. Luke and Harlow have taught me so much and I’ve loved getting to know the buns they are and not the buns I want them to be. Both polar opposites and insist on pushing me to my limits hahaha.
But I’m here to say 2017 will be my last year in Michigan (for the time being) and ask for a little help. In Jan 2018 I’ll be leaving my small town in Michigan and moving across the country to San Diego California. This gives me a year to plan, prep, learn, and prepare my bunnies for such a big move. I’m extremely nervous because I know how stressful traveling is for them. At this time, it doesn’t look like driving will be an option. My friend is flying to Michigan to meet my family and we’re going back to California together.
I’m the only bunny lover in my family so 100% of their care and necessities come from me so leaving them at home is also not an option. And I refuse to rehome them because not only are they my babies, Harlow is a look don’t touch bunny and gets aggressive if handled and Luke is such a lover but he’s been home to home to home and I couldn’t do that to him again. They have such a strong bond, I don’t want them to be separated.
Does anyone on here Have any experience with a cross country move? It’s a 7 hour flight including one hour long stop, and that’s long for me let alone my bunnies. I really hope some of you can give me tips on how to go about this the easiest, stress free way.
