Moshu gets these bouts of diarrhea, following by inappetence and stasis. This has happened thrice this year. I follow the standard procedure: Simethicone, lots of tummy massage, Practin, Metoclopramine, probiotics, yeast supplement, rehydration and recently, Ranitidine.

Along with these medicines, I also give her some Ayurvedic veterinary tonics. I dont like giving her Practin too much and recently I observed, it doesnt help too much. It makes her drowsy and she sleeps so much that she doesnt even eat, which is the reason for which I give her Practin in the first place

I noticed that Ayurvedic liver tonics improve her appetite a lot. Liv 52 and Liv Jivan are the two tonics that I give her. Does this indicate in any way that something is wrong with her liver functioning? I am feeling stupid asking this .____.

I’m not familiar with the tonics, but have you tried milk thistle? I’m not thinking of the teas or supplements, but actually growing some, perhaps in a pot outside since it can be kinda weedy.
