Hello All,
I am a somewhat new buny owner (almost 7 weeks) with a 15 week old Mini Satin. She enjoys chewing on anything in sight, finding ways to escape her cage, veggies/treats and ignoring me. She does not enjoy the harness for the leash or being babysat by someone new. She likes to cuddle but only on her own terms and if she does not want to cuddle she will not take it. She is not currently spay but will be once I feel comfortable with it. She can be calm and sweet but again on her own terms. If she wants to be grumpy she will be.
I moved out of my parents place into a dorm 2 years ago then moved into my own apartment just over 1 year ago. I always grew up with animals and felt something in my life was missing without them. I feel it is mean to keep a dog in an apartment because of how much outside time they need and my lack of ability to give it to them so I started researching what animals were good for apartments and not needing to much attention. I have a friend who has bunnies and she convinced me. Reese is happy as long as her cage in open whenever I am home and awake to come and go as she wants so it is a perfect match.
