Truffle the bunny is about six weeks old. I’m not sure if Truffle is a girl or a boy at this point, but she/he will eventually be spayed or neutered. I attempted to sex her and I think she may be a girl (but really, I have no idea!). I have no idea what type of bunny Truffle is, but I know she’s adorable. She’s very outgoing. She was already doing binkies around her cage and she nudges me to say hello!I also had a bit of trouble with her x-pen. She can partially fit through it, so I sort of substituted for now until I can get some mesh to put around the bottom. Eventually, I am hoping that she will have free reign when I am home and the x pen will be her space for the night.

She is all black except for one white paw. My friend and I joked that we should nickname her Michael Jackson or Bunny Jean, haha.
She’s not a big fan of the camera, so she looks a little scared here.

In the midst of grooming.

Still not a fan of the camera.

I also have two cats. This is Gatsby and he is a year old medium-haired tabby.

Pippa is a three year old medium-haired calico.
I’m going to work on getting some better pictures of Truffle. My cats still haven’t been out with Truffle, but they have sniffed her and seen her in the x-pen (which has a wire top). I think they’ll do fine together. They’re very curious about her, but they don’t see her as prey.
Oh, and if anyone has any idea at all what Truffle may be, please let me know. I know she’s probably a mix, but I’m curious about how big she may get. Thanks!
As for me, I’ve never had a rabbit before. I’m completely inexperienced and learning a lot. I love animals, so I’m very excited to bring Truffle into my home. I kept seeing adorable pictures of rabbits online and curiousity got the best of me, so I started doing some research on house rabbits. It didn’t take long before I was convinced I wanted a rabbit. I didn’t know they had so much personality. After a few more weeks of research, here I am.
