Hey guys, I want you to meet Spooky Mulder, no he is not an FBI agent, just a normal little bunny guy. I’m not really sure how old he is, I just recently got him from a pet store because I couldn’t stand to see the little guy in there. I have only had one other rabbit before that lived for a month before passing. (I rescued him from a horder’s house, but he was severly inbred.) Being as I am allergic to cats and dogs, I have always loved rabbits because I can love on them more! My boyfriend got Spooky for me to hang out with when he goes on tour. (He is a musician.) Spooky and I have already become pretty good friends. He really seems to like me and already act really comfortable here! He does the craziest binkies, and lounges around with his legs all strectched out. I’m pretty happy with the little dude.

I joined here so I could talk with other people that have rabbits, and so you guys can help me raise him properly. I really care about him and love him a lot and I want to do everything right.

Oh, and my name is Alexa, I’m 19 and go to school for Graphic Design.

Spooky Mulder! Lol! Well if that isn’t the most fearsome rabbit I’ve ever seen!

Seriously cute! Is it just his front paws that are white?

Like from X Files, ya know? My boyfriend and I are big X Files fans.

There is very little white on his back feet, and a vague white stripe on his neck. And the ones you can see on his head and nose. He is a little cutie, I’m in love with him.

Well I’m curious if you guys could try to guess his age from the photo. I wasn’t told how old he was, just that he is young (obviously). And I was also told to only feed him hay and pellets for now until he gets older.

                    He’s adorable! Welcome to BB!

You’re right on the hay and pellets (you can even give him alfalfa, since he’s still growing). Veggies should be introduced slowly in small amounts beginning when the bunny is about 3 months old. This might help:

Love the name! I too used to be an avid X-Files watcher! I was in love with Mulder lol! But that little bunny of yours is much cuter
I would guess between 8-10 weeks????? A vet should be able to give you a pretty accurate estimate based on his…ah…parts x-) I think.

Love the name. I’m a big X-phile too. My husband and I re-watched the entire series about a year ago on the VHS tapes that my mom used to tape the original episodes – you know, before the DVR was invented. lol. Anyway, he looks a lot like my bun did when we first got her and she was a little baby – she was probably 8 weeks when we got her.

so you won’t have any trouble naming any possible mate for Spooky in the future then 😉

I love the x-files too. I had a lot of tapes I wore out, since I have Netflix now, I can watch as much as I want for $10 a month!

He’s adorable, I love those little white spots. I have a little Dutch boy that I just couldn’t leave at the petstore either..lol

                              Welcome!

Welcome to you and your adorable Bun! I have to chime in because I’m another X-Files fanatic… I actually bought all the DVD sets one by one as they were new… which set me back about $100 per season for 9 seasons… now of course you can get all 9 seasons in a box set for $150 total… not to mention on netflix… sigh.

Wonder if any of you guys are watching FRINGE which is the only show that almost fills the hole in my heart that the X-Files left!

He looks to be about ten weeks in this picture. In another month he will be ready to be neutered but a vet can tell you for sure

Very Cute! They are generally 8 weeks when the pet stores get them. You can start greens one at a time at 12 weeks.

Good because he literally crawled into my lap today and peed on me. ON me haha. He is going mad crazy with pee power and poop power when he is around me.

I remember my Neigey at that stage… he would run up to the mirror door of my closet and spray pee on his reflection… that’s when I knew he was ready to get neutered.
