Hi everyone! I’m Corrie and I’m pretty new to having a house bunny. I had when was a kid, but that was awhile ago (I’m 24 now).
About a month ago I adopted Pillows from the local humane society, and I’m glad I did! They told me that she was 11 months old when I got her and that she is a dwarf mix. If anyone has any insight as to what her mix could be, I’d love to hear it! She’s a nice gray color with some light brown (almost like khaki) mixed in. She has a really cute dark gray part on her face that forms like a “V” from her nose around the upper eye.
This is Pillows a few days after I brought her home.
So far, she’s still getting used to me and my family. She no longer really bites me, but she has bitten my dad and likes to nip at my sister’s rear. We’re working on that. We found out that she loves ti leaves which I read is good for her so yay!
I also have two dogs, a black lab mix and a pomeranian chihuahua. The big one (Snickers) loves to eat bunny poop and would love to play with Pillows without a fence separating them, but she’s huge and plays rough so that’s a no go. Toffee (pomchi) pretends that Pillows doesn’t exist.
