We’ve had our new flemish giant baby for a week now and he is doing great! I finally named him, it was hard thinking of a name that would fit him at his current size and his soon to be giant size His name is Lemur – he is a climber for sure. We thought about naming him Monkey but I just didn’t know if it would fit when he was bigger. He climbs up into my lap for naps and climbs all over me when I’m laying down on the floor. He has also figured out how to use the steps! Lemur likes to eat… a lot! He is a hungry hungry hippo bunny

Anyway, I know you want pictures! Here are some of his cage too – my husband and I made it together. Hopefully he wont need it in a few months and will be out all the time like my mini-lop, Bear.

his color is called sandy, which is I guess is an orangey brown. He has black fur mixed in there too, like speckles. He’s my little love bun

Lemur is so handsome, with his long ears and sunny coat. I especially love the first two pics and look forward to seeing more!

Lemur says thanks for telling him how cute he is!  He weighed 4.8 pounds when we picked him up (the day before he turned 8 weeks). He is 9 weeks and 1 day old, and has obviously already grown, but I don’t know his exact weight – Wouldn’t surprise me if he has gained at least a half a pound. He should be a big boy . His mom was 17.5 pounds and his dad 16.5.
