Hi everyone!! Meet my babies, both lionhead mixes.
I work for an animal shelter and I adopted these sisters back in February. They are now almost 5 months old.
Rain is black & white. She has one cloudy eye from an ulcer (that was treated!) she developed before she came into my care.
Meadow is the brown bun with white. She has already had some teeth issues but I’m hoping that the vet is right in that it’ll fix itself!

Hello and welcome to Binky Bunny! Meadow and Rain are precious.

I saw another thread of yours which talked about their fighting after being spayed.  You got some good advice, so hopefully they will be bonded and back together soon.

Keep a close eye on Meadow since it’s known that she has teeth issues. Look for clues that she may have to have her teeth issues addressed. If she is slower to eat, suddenly doesn’t eat certain foods, may drop food out of her mouth or may be drooling, you would need to have her seen by the vet
          .
          They really are very cute!

              Thanks for the welcome ?.
I’ve had her looked at by the vet, she had her teeth trimmed once already and they have aligned much better but seem to be over growing again so we will have to go in for a second trim. If they continue to overthrow we’re going to have them removed .

                Welcome to BB M&R!

I don’t know the details of the dental situation, but be sure to weigh the all options, so if it’s a matter or routine trims vs. teeth removal, while cost is a big factor long term, also consider what teeth would be removed, how many, and if this would hinder the rabbit’s ability to eat hay. There are a couple members on BB who report rabbit with some teeth removed who have difficulty getting their rabbit to eat. Personally based on Wick’s situation, I do routine grindings for him. Just a thought to consider!

Thanks Wick! It’s always good to have another perspective for sure. All her teeth are okay so far except for her incisors. Her top ones only but I’m aware she’ll have to have all 6 front teeth removed even if the problem is just the top ones. She’s already not as accepting of new treats/veggies and toys to chew on as her sister is but we’re definitely constantly monitoring her tooth growth and plan to have hem trimmed again once we’re back from our vacation in a week.
I will update on our situation ?.
