        Hi there.

My bunny is 9 months old (nearly), I’ve had him since 8 weeks of age. I had plans to give him the chop but was advised to wait until he was a bit older. Today, I had him out of his cage (He’s an indoor bun) and he started jumping on me and sniffing me. I know buns often do this, but Biscuit usually sniffs once or twice then goes off. He spent a long time sniffing my hoody. The only thing I can think of is this hoody has been in storage for a while so he isn’t used to the smell.

However, he started doing little grunts whilst sniffing. I am aware this is a sign of mating so was just wondering whether it wouold be best to give him the chop? Will he still be a happy bun afterward?

        Thanks in advance!

At 9 months, he’s more than ready to be neutered.

He will still be happy! Neutering never changed the bunnies I’ve had. He will probably be happier because he won’t be so hormonally frustrated.
