Most of you know Lulu went to the vet last month because she was dribbling pee and urinating out side of the litter box. I took her to the vet but her symptoms had stopped the day before so the vet just said to stop feeding them pellets and if it happens again to bring her in for x-rays. Well… Lulu has been peeing outside of her litter box again and in the last 24 hours has peed 3-4 times outside of it. I called the vet and they said I should bring her in for x-rays. I am so scared! I hope she is going to be OK! She wont be put under ( I thought they did for x-rays but I guess not) so that is good. It is going to cost me $130 all together! Why are vets so expencive!

          Vibes to Lulu!!

If it makes you feel any better my vets would charge at least twice that 😛 Probably doesn’t make you feel better though. haha

Vibes to Lulu – let us know what the vet says.

I know, I wish vets didn’t cost so much too! Hopefully the x-ray will help easily diagnose her problem. Hugs.

It’s good to get it done, since she has had it reoccur so it’s something that needs proper diagnosis and treatment. Let us know the results when you get them.

Thanks guys. I don’t want there to be something wrong, but at the same time I want to know what’s wrong!

Sending good vibes they figure out what’s going on, and it’s a relatively easy fix.

I am so nervous! She hasn’t been peeing outside of her box any more, so that is good. I just hope we find out whats wrong!

Good luck, Lulu! Sending many (((Get Well Vibes)))) your way.

I can definitely feel ya on the expensive vet business! It makes it so difficult to have multiple bunnies especially when one or more of them have chronic problems.

luckily Mocha hasn’t ever been sick. the only problems he has had was he ripped his neuter stitches and he got a nasty cut.

Yesterday went well! They didn’t find anything on the x-ray and they said now that medical is canceled out, it must be behavioral. She did mention if she is frequently urinating that it could be a UTI and they could get a urine sample. She tried to get one while we were there but Lulu had an empty bladder. I wish we could have done a urine sample first as it probably would have been much easier and cheaper then x-rays. But, She sent me home with some stuff to collect urine with and said if she starts urinating frequently or other showing other signs of a UTI to collect a sample and drop it off at the clinic. She says she isn’t worried about it though.

Glad the X-Ray didn’t show any problems. Good luck trying to get some bunny tinkle!

That’s really good news! Even if it turns out to be a UTI that’s much better than other things it could’ve been.
